AMPD Athletics was founded on the belief that sports are a powerful vehicle for youth development. When young people have structure, mentorship, and opportunity, they thrive. We use athletics as the entry point and build from there — adding education, life skills, and community support to create a complete development experience.
Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Polk County with a mission to develop youth through sports, mentorship, and education.
Our first active program — a competitive youth basketball travel team competing in AAU and YBOA tournaments across Florida.
Established our training home base, giving our athletes a consistent, quality facility to train and develop.
With donor support, we will launch financial literacy, college prep, mental health, and additional athletics programs.
